The crazy rhythmic beats couldn’t be understood
Cos my heart was doing double time

The worst part is that you didn’t even know
Even though my face could obviously show
That something was going on inside of me
I could have walked over there with glee
But I don’t want to appear too smooth
There’s nothing for me to prove
So I guess I’ll just sit and wait
